Telemedicine
Designing remote care models that hold up clinically and commercially.
What the problem looks like
A telemedicine product is easy to build and hard to make defensible. The clinical protocol, the escalation pathway, the prescribing route, the regulator's view and the unit economics all have to hold at once — and each one can quietly sink the model.
Nigeria has no shortage of remote-care apps. It has a shortage of remote-care services a physician would send their own family to.
What I do about it
Clinical protocol and triage design, scope-of-practice boundaries, escalation and referral pathways, prescriber governance, and licensing and regulatory engagement.
Commercial design alongside it: consultation economics, pharmacy fulfilment, and what a session must cost for the model to survive its own growth.
What I have done before
Lagos State's first telemedicine operating licence
Secured the first telemedicine operating licence issued in Lagos State — a regulatory precedent, not only a product launch.
